Canada-EU trade arrangements examined

The Exiting the European Union Committee considers what can be learned about Brexit from agreements between Canada and the EU.

This session is part of the Exiting the European Union Committee's overarching inquiry into the progress of the EU withdrawal negotiations.

In this meeting the Committee examines the EU-Canada Comprehensive Economic & Trade Agreement (CETA) and the Strategic Partnership Agreement. The Committee discusses areas covered by the agreement and lessons that can be learned from the negotiations between the EU and Canada.
