- Exiting the European Union Committee
This meeting is part of the Committee's overarching inquiry looking at the progress of the UK's negotiations on EU withdrawal.
Future UK-EU relationship
In past weeks, the Committee has examined the EU's CETA agreement with Canada, its various Association Agreements, and the bloc's relationship with Switzerland, Norway, and the European Economic Area. In this meeting, the Committee turns its attention to what lessons can be learned from the EU-Turkey customs agreement, the EU-US negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, and the Australia-New Zealand trading relationship.
The Committee focuses on how these arrangements have developed, and how relevant they could be in informing the future relationship between the UK and the EU.
