EU Association Agreements examined

The Exiting the European Union Committee considers how the EU Association Agreements with Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine could inform future UK-EU relations.

Having examined the CETA negotiations and eventual agreement, the Committee will no look at the EU's Association Agreements, which create a framework for co-operation between the EU and non-EU countries. Recent examples have been agreements with Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The Committee will focus on what lessons can be learned from these negotiations and how relevant EU Association Agreements may be in informing the future relationship between the UK and EU.

This oral evidence session is part of the Committee's overarching inquiry looking at the progress of the UK's negotiations on EU withdrawal.
