International Development Sub-Committee on the Work of the Independent Commission for Aid Impact

Commons Select Committee

The Sub-Committee on the Work of ICAI has been appointed by the International Development Committee to examine the work of the Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI). The Sub-Committee operates by scrutinising ICAI's reports on value-for-money of ODA expenditure and by assessing the FCDO’s and other Government Departments’ responses to those reviews. The Sub-Committee works alongside, and reports to the International Development Committee, who continues to monitor ICAI, chiefly through an annual examination of ICAI's Annual Report and work programme.
