Witness

Thursday 21 April in Committee Room 3, Palace of Westminster

At 10.15am

  • Robert Goodwill MP, Minister of State, Department for Transport

Likely questions

In the evidence session, likely questions include:

  • Following reports of the first drone strike with a passenger plane at Heathrow on the weekend, what steps is the Government taking to prevent similar drone strikes in future?
  • What is the Government doing to address privacy concerns about the growing use of drones in built up areas? How are the CAA, the police and the Information Commissioner's Office working together to address this?
  • Can you provide more detail about the public dialogue events the Government recently held on drones, and its drones Strategy, which is to be published later this year?
