Sector representatives discuss post-Brexit EU work migration

The EU Home Affairs Sub-Committee takes evidence from the hospitality, retail and healthcare sectors on future EU migration to the UK for work.

Background

Following the Committee's evidence session on Wednesday 20 February 2019 with the Institute of Economic Affairs, University of Oxford and Institute for Public Policy Research, the committee will look again at future EU migration to the UK for work. In this session, representatives of hospitality, retail and healthcare employers will give evidence on how Brexit will impact their workforce. The Committee will also hear from Citizens Advice about the immigration advice they are providing to EU nationals in the light of Brexit, and changes to the UK immigration system.
