Areas of discussion
The European Commission has published a series of notices that set out the consequences of the UK leaving the EU on a variety of different sectors, detailing the policy and legal implications of Brexit that those working in that sector will need to take account of. The UK Government has also begun publishing guidance on what businesses and individuals will need to do in a 'no deal' scenario.
Members will question the Secretary of State on the detail of the notices that relate to his Department, to better understand the potential impact of 'no deal' on the environment, agriculture and fishing sectors, and the extent to which the Government is prepared for that eventuality.
