Committee publishes the Government’s response to its Report, Unequal Impact? Coronavirus, disability and access to services: to be debated on Thursday 15 April

The Women and Equalities Committee published its Fourth Report of Session 2019–21, Unequal Impact? Coronavirus, disability and access to services: full Report (HC 1050), on 22 December 2020.

The Report considered disabled people's access to food shopping, health and social care services and provision for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities during the pandemic. It also examined the effectiveness and accessibility of the Government’s consultation and communications with disabled people about coronavirus.
The Government's response to the Report was received on 30 March and has been published, with accessible versions, today, Wednesday 14 April.
The Committee's Report and the Government's response will be debated in Westminster Hall on Thursday 15 April, from 1.30pm until 3pm.
