Employers questioned on sexual harassment in the workplace

The Women and Equalities Committee questions employers as part of its inquiry into sexual harassment in the workplace.

What we will cover

The session will focus on:

  • leadership and action by employers to assess the risk and prevalence of sexual harassment in their workplace and action taken to prevent it
  • the role of regulators in overseeing employer actions to tackle sexual harassment
  • how culture change can be achieved
  • overcoming barriers to reporting
  • employer policies and practices to ensure that reports are dealt with appropriately
