Lord Sedwill stepped down as Cabinet Secretary and Head of the Civil Service in September 2020, having held the post since 2018.
The evidence session will provide an opportunity for the Committee to examine the challenges he faced in the role, including managing relations between the Civil Service and Ministers, preparing for Brexit and responding to the Covid-19 pandemic.
