The session will examine how and where the Government decides to invest money through major projects. The Committee will investigate the key criteria, such as economic development and social prosperity, that major projects are intended to achieve and how these are factored in to the design and decision making process.
The Committee will also examine the role that major projects can play in "levelling up" the national economy and the role that local decision making and public engagement can have in driving development.
