Call for evidence on Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman

11 November 2015

On Tuesday 12 January the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee (PACAC) holds its annual scrutiny session with the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO), Dame Julie Mellor. The Committee will hear from Dame Julie about her work in 2014-15 and her strategy for the continuing operation of the service.

Written submissions

We invite submissions of written evidence about the quality and value for money of the service provided by the PHSO. The deadline for written evidence is Friday 11 December 2015.

Those wishing to submit evidence should note that the Committee is unable to deal with individual cases. Written evidence should focus on the quality and value for money of the ombudsman's service and should not include detailed descriptions of individual cases. Submissions that do not meet these criteria may not be accepted by the Committee.
