This week's decisions included scheduling a debate on the inclusion of expressive arts subjects in the Ebacc, and noting Government responses to e-petitions that have received over 10,000 signatures.

The Committee considered all e-petitions which had reached over 10,000 signatures and had received a government response by Friday 22 April 2016. No e-petitions reached over 100,000 signatures this week.
Petitions which met these criteria after this date will be considered at the Committee's next meeting on Tuesday 3 May 2016.
Petition debates
The Committee decided to schedule a debate in Westminster Hall on the motion "That this House has considered e-petition 111731 relating to expressive arts subjects and the Ebacc" on Monday 4 July 2016 at 4.30pm.
Catherine McKinnell MP, a member of the Petitions Committee, will lead the debate.

The Committee decided to write to the Department for Communities and Local Government to request that they write to the Committee when they have considered responses to the consultation mentioned in the response and decided on an outcome.
