Decisions of the Petitions Committee Tuesday 12 December 2017

The Committee considered all e-petitions over 10,000 signatures which had received a government response, by Friday 8 December. 

Petitions which met these criteria after this date will be considered at the Committee's next meeting on Tuesday 9 January.

Petitions with over 10,000 signatures which have received a government response

• Abolish the 0.7% GDP target for Foreign Aid 

The Committee noted the Government's response.

• Introduce an Act of Parliament supporting ADHD adults and children (ADHD Act)

The Committee noted the Government's response.

• No more taxpayers money to be paid to the EU as part of any Brexit deal 

The Committee noted the Government's response.

The following public (paper) petitions received a written response from the Government and were noted by the Committee.

• Consumer Rights (presented by Martyn Day MP)
• System of obtaining Permanent Residence Certification (presented by Tommy Sheppard MP)
