Today's decisions involved informing petitioners of recent and ongoing work in the House of Commons.
The Committee considered all e-petitions which had reached over 10,000 signatures and had received a government response, on or by Friday 23 October. There were no petitions which had reached over 100,000 signatures by this date to consider at the meeting.
Petitions which met these criteria after Friday 23 October, will be considered at its next meeting on Tuesday 3 November.
Petitions over 10,000 with a government response
The Committee noted that there had been a House of Commons Westminster Hall debate on this issue on 16 September 2015.
It agreed to inform petitioners about this debate.
The Committee noted that this issue had been debated extensively in the House of Commons in September. It agreed to inform petitioners of the work which the House of Commons is doing on this issue.
