On 19 January 2021 the Committee considered all e-petitions which had, before 14 January 2021, reached over 10,000 signatures and received a Government response, or had received a revised response. The Committee also considered petitions which had reached over 100,000 signatures and petitions that were relevant to already scheduled debates.
Petitions with over 100,000 signatures
The Committee agreed to consider scheduling the following petitions to debate at a later date:
- Stop work on HS2 immediately and hold a new vote to repeal the legislation
- Increase funding for research into Endometriosis and PCOS
- Shut all nurseries and early years settings during lockdown

Government responses
The Committee noted the following Government responses:
- Exempt driving tests and lessons from COVID-19 restrictions
- Lower the age you are offered a cervical screening (smear test) from 25 to 16
- Recall Parliament now to scrutinise new Christmas coronavirus restrictions
- Create a single database of microchipped cats and dogs & make scanning mandatory
- Keep gyms open during Tier 4 lockdown
- Seek Europe-wide Visa-free work permit for Touring professionals and Artists
