The Committee considered all e-petitions which had reached over 100,000 signatures, and those over 10,000 signatures which had received a Government response before 14 May 2020. The Committee also considered a petition which had received a revised Government response, and a public petition which had received a Government observation.

Support the British aviation industry during the COVID-19 outbreak
The Committee agreed to refer this petition to the Transport Committee, which is holding an inquiry into the aviation industry, so that petitioners' concerns can be addressed as part of the inquiry.

 

Petitions with over 10,000 signatures which have received a government response

Revoke the Health and Social Care Act 2012 and renationalise the NHS
The Committee agreed to request a revised response to this petition, as the response does not directly address the petitioner's request. The Committee also agreed to bring petitioners' attention to relevant work undertaken by the Health and Social Care Committee.
