Rt Hon Nicholas Brown elected Chair of the Finance Committee

At its meeting on Wednesday 26 May 2021, Rt Hon Nicholas Brown was elected Chair of the Finance Committee, replacing Lilian Greenwood.
This marks a return for Mr Brown, who previously chaired the Committee from July 2015–October 2016.
As Chair of the Finance Committee he will also sit on the House of Commons Commission, which has overall responsibility for the administration and services of the House of Commons.
