The Committee consists of 11 Members and currently meets monthly. The Chair of the Committee is Lilian Greenwood.

Following the UK General Election held on Thursday 12 December 2019, State Opening of Parliament took place on 19 December 2019. Prorogation took place on 29 April 2021, ending the long 2019–21 Parliamentary Session.
