Airbus, BAE Systems, Boeing and Lockheed Martin to face questions from Defence Committee

On Tuesday 29 November, at 10.30am, the Committee holds an evidence session on aviation procurement, questioning industry representatives from Airbus, BAE Systems, Boeing and Lockheed Martin.
The session will cover overarching themes of defence procurement as well as issues relating to specific aviation capabilities. The questions will likely cover the impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the effects of the economic downturn on supply chains and defence spending. The Committee will cover major aviation defence procurement programmes including the F-35, Typhoon and A400M Atlas. They will also look at delays in the military flying training system.
