Service complaints and victim support - evidence session

The Defence Sub-Committee on Women in the Armed Forces will hear from former complaints Ombudsman Nicola Williams. The Sub-Committee will also hear from service charities.

Purpose of the session

The session will focus on:

  • The handling of serious behavioural complaints and sexual offences in the service justice system
  • The specialist support available for victims and commanding officers
  • The quality of the investigations process. The session will also explore potential future reforms
