Defence to hold one-off evidence session on China’s military ambitions

On Tuesday 23 February, at 14.30, the Defence Committee will hear from a panel of expert witnesses as part of a one-off evidence session on China’s military ambitions.
Purpose of the session
The session will explore China’s global and Asia-Pacific ambitions, including the purpose of its Belt and Road Initiative. The session is also expected to explore China’s military modernisation and capabilities and actions in cyber and space as well as its nuclear deterrent.
