Committee questions National Security Adviser on Modernising Defence Programme

1 May 2018

The Defence Committee takes evidence from Sir Mark Sedwill, the National Security Adviser in its fourth session on the Modernising Defence Programme (MDP).

The MDP has its origins in the Defence strand of the National Security Capability Review (NSCR), which reported in late March and was co-ordinated by Sir Mark. The Committee will explore the relationship between the NSCR process and the MDP, and what the implications of the Government's new national security policy might be for Defence.
