The Economic Affairs Finance Bill Sub-Committee questions two panels as part of the Sub-Committee's ongoing inquiry on the draft Finance Bill 2018. First, the Sub-Committee considers Making Tax Digital for VAT from the perspective of small businesses, software developers and tax simplification. Second, legal experts give their views on developments in HMRC's powers in recent years.
