The Education Committee has published supplementary written evidence from witnesses as part of its inquiry into the role of the Regional Schools Commissioners.

Performance measures and number of schools
Following his appearance before the Committee, Frank Green, Schools Commissioner, has written to correct two points he made regarding the publication of performance measures for the Regional Schools Commissioners and the number of schools described as inadequate by Ofsted.
Robert Hill and the Association of Directors of Children's Services have also submitted additional material following up on issues raised during the evidence session.
