Digital Debate
On Monday 10 October from 2-3pm Will Quince MP and Antoinette Sandbach MP led a public debate on Twitter on the subject of baby loss, using #babylossdebate.
This House of Commons digital debate took place in advance of Will Quine & Antoinette Sandbach's Backbench Business debate on Thursday 13 October. The digital debate allows members of the public to contribute to the discussion in Parliament, and provide a useful resource for MPs taking part.
Backbench Business Committee
The Backbench Business Committee meets weekly on Tuesdays to consider requests for debates from any backbench Members of Parliament on any subject.
The Committee then has to decide how to allocate the limited Parliamentary time it has at its disposal. The Committee's meetings are always conducted in public and can be watched on Parliament TV.
