EU Committees publish six Brexit reports

The European Union Committee and its sub-committees published six reports in the week beginning 12 December 2016. These reports mark a stage in the EU Committee's comprehensive programme of work looking at the key issues that will arise in the forthcoming negotiations on Brexit.

The Committee has now published reports on the following themes:
- Brexit: parliamentary scrutiny
- Brexit: UK-Irish relations
- Brexit: financial services
- Brexit: future trade between the UK and the EU
- Brexit: fisheries
- Brexit: acquired rights
- Brexit: future UK-EU security and policing co-operation
Brexit inquiries
The EU Select Committee and its six sub-committees are now undertaking a further series of inquiries on aspects of the EU-UK relationship post-Brexit. Reports on the following topics will appear in early 2017:
