- Letter from Lord Boswell of Aynho to the Chief Secretary of the Treasury on the European Commission proposal for the 2021-27 Multiannual Financial Framework, dated 24 July 2018 (pdf 316KB)
- European Union Committee
Background
The letter draws on the analysis of the six sub-committees, and in light of the UK's withdrawal from the EU in March 2019, focuses in particular on those aspects of the MFF with implications for the UK, or where the Government has expressed an interest in participating in future EU funding programmes.
The Committee has written to the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Rt Hon Liz Truss MP, and has invited a response by 4 September 2018.
