Report
The Digital Economy Bill is a wide-ranging Bill which addresses policy issues related to electronic communications infrastructure and services. The Committee's report raises concerns over provisions relating to the delegation of powers; the lack of detail given as to the new online pornography age verification scheme; and questions the decision not to include the details of Ofcom's new regulatory responsibilities in respect of the BBC.
Committee stage of the Bill is yet to be scheduled
