Levelling Up Committee publishes Government letter on role & responsibilities of the Office for Local Government (Oflog)

The response follows a letter from Clive Betts, Chair of the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Committee, in relation to the Committee’s Oflog inquiry which is looking at the remit of the new body and how it will engage with local authorities to help raise performance and improve outcomes for people and places.

The closing date for written evidence submissions to this inquiry has been extended to 23 January (see inquiry terms of reference).

Evidence sessions for this inquiry are expected to begin in February.
