19 May 2022

On Monday 23 May from 4pm, the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (LUHC) Committee will hold the final evidence session of its inquiry into long-term funding of adult social care with questions to Kemi Badenoch MP, Minister of State (Minister for Levelling Up Communities), DLUHC and Gillian Keegan MP, Minister for Care, at the Department of Health and Social Care.

The purpose of the session

The cross-party group of MPs will question Ministers on the long-term funding of adult social care and on the immediate pressures on the sector. The session is also likely to examine the Government’s reforms of how people pay for their care and paying a fair rate to providers and questions around wider reform of the adult social care sector.
