The cross-party group of MPs is likely to question the Secretary of State on a range of issues relating to the scope and role of the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.

Topic areas for the session are likely to include building safety and remediation, levelling up and planning reform, as well as changes to the Department’s remit since the Secretary of State’s appointment.
The Committee is also likely to examine issues around the sustainability of local government funding, taking into account announcements in the Spending Review last week, including funding for adult social care services.
