Questions for The Pensions Regulator on Kodak pension scheme

19 September 2018

Chair of the Work and Pension Select Committee Rt Hon Frank Field MP has today written to The Pension Regulator (TPR) with questions on possible lessons to be taken from the “unusual circumstances” of the Kodak pension scheme and its current windup.

Chair's comment:

“Members of the scheme have received benefits better than the PPF for more than four years longer than they might otherwise have done, which is welcome. Nevertheless, the PPF is now facing its biggest single claim to date … are there are any lessons that the Pensions Regulator could usefully learn from this unusual experience?”
