Committee to question Minister for Disabled People Justin Tomlinson MP

Purpose of the session

The session is likely to cover the Government’s National Disability Strategy, which was published in July, its recent health and disability Green Paper, and the Committee’s report on the disability employment gap, which called on the Government to adopt a more ambitious target for getting disabled people into work.

The Minister could also face questions on the Government’s record on engaging with disabled people and the effectiveness of the benefits system.
