Following Brexit, the UK and Australian governments have been negotiating a free trade agreement (FTA), and an agreement in principle was reached in June.

The Committee also questions the Minister on wider UK Government trade ambitions relating to other FTAs and joining Pacific Rim nations in the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), and the potential implications for Wales.
