Chair's comment
On announcing the event, Committee Chair David TC Davies commented:
"As the UK starts the process of exiting the European Union, it is essential to understand the unique impact on Wales. As we embark on this inquiry, we believe it is important to speak directly to the people of Wales to get to the heart of their reasons for voting and understand how we should prioritise our focus as we scrutinise the negotiations.
This event in Aberystwyth will examine issues which could impact people locally. Are you worried about tourism in the area remaining competitive and desirable? How will Welsh culture be promoted? What will be the impact for Welsh farming? We want you to tell us about the issues that are important to you."
