Chair's comments

David T.C. Davies MP, Chair of the Welsh Affairs Committee, said:

"There will inevitably be much debate over the new draft Wales Bill, in particular whether the proposed reserved powers model will achieve the Government's objectives of providing a clear and lasting settlement for Wales.

Our role as the Welsh Affairs Committee will be to subject the draft Bill to rigorous scrutiny beyond the party divides, and consider what changes might need to be made before it is introduced to Parliament next year."
