FCA responds to Treasury Committee's request to publish RBS-GRG report by 16 February

On Wednesday 7 February, the Treasury Committee set the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) the deadline of Friday 16 February to publish the skilled persons' (Section 166) report into RBS' treatment of small business customers in its Global Restructuring Group (GRG).

If it is unable to meet this deadline, the Committee requested that the FCA send the report to the Committee by the same date.
Andrew Bailey, Chief Executive of the FCA, has written to Rt Hon. Nicky Morgan MP, Chair of the Treasury Committee, to set out the FCA's assessment of the Committee's request.
Commenting on the correspondence, Mrs Morgan said:
"I am pleased to see that the FCA is trying to get the report agreed for publication or handed to the Committee to meet its deadline."
