Purpose of the session

The Committee will ask witnesses, including former Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Rt Hon. the Lord Hammond of Runnymede, questions on:

  • National Infrastructure Strategy
  • The 2020 update to the Green Book
  • The role of infrastructure in the recovery from covid-19
  • Political interference in the appraisal and delivery process
  • Place-based and environmental factors in the appraisal process
  • Skills
