This one-off session is a follow-up to the Committee’s inquiry into the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the aviation sector.

Purpose of the session

The Committee will question witnesses on the following issues:

  • The outlook for the aviation industry and summer 2021 travel
  • Restart and recovery and Government support
  • The financial impact of Covid-19 on the aviation industry and employees
  • Border regulations and restrictions
  • Rebuilding consumer confidence
  • Passenger rights and refunds
