Focus of the session

For the second hearing in the Airports NPS inquiry, the Committee takes evidence from UK airports and airlines to discuss the wider implications of an expanded Heathrow on the UK aviation sector, including on connectivity outside of London and on the viability of the current proposals for airline groups. The Committee also hears from climate change and air quality experts to understand what the environmental and legal implications are of an expanded runway for the UK.
