Committee to question Secretary of State on policy and performance

This is a one-off oral evidence session with the Secretary of State for Transport, the Rt Hon Chris Grayling MP.

Focus of the session

This session is intended to give the Committee an opportunity to question the Secretary of State for Transport on his Department's performance and priorities and the key policy issues facing the Department over the next six months.

The Secretary of State will also be asked to reflect more widely on the three years he has been in this post. 

Members are expected to question Mr Grayling on: 

  • The Secretary of State's experience and departmental performance 
  • The Department's transport strategy and departmental plan
  • Sustainability, decarbonisation and climate change
