In its final evidence session in the inquiry into rail infrastructure investment, the Transport Committee questions the Department for Transport Rail Minister, Jo Johnson MP, about the Government's strategy for the railway network.

Focus of the session
The session considers the lessons learned in rail control period (CP) 5, which has seen the cancellation of rail electrification schemes, and examine how the Department intends to coordinate plans for CP6 (2019-24), including its stewardship of the new railway enhancements pipeline and market-led proposals.
