Committee question Minister and Deputy Director on pavement parking

This is the second of two oral evidence sessions in the Committee's inquiry into pavement parking, which was announced on 2 April 2019.
Focus of the session
At this session the Committee will question the Minister about what the Department for Transport is doing to tackle the problem of pavement parking, and how the Government can support innovation and good practice by local authorities.
Previous session
On Wednesday 19 June the Committee heard from Living Streets, Guide Dogs, the Association of British Drivers, and a number of local authorities from across England (a transcript is available here). Last week Members visited Bexhill to see the problems of pavement parking first hand, meet with the local council and hear from members of the public about how pavement parking affected them.
