Nicola Sturgeon to appear in front of MPs on Monday 1 July

Nicola Sturgeon’s appearance before the Scottish Affairs Committee will take place on Monday 1 July.

Ms Sturgeon was due to give evidence to the Westminster-based Committee on Monday 29 April, but the session was postponed due to a change in witness availability. The exact timings of the former First Minister’s appearance in front of MPs will be confirmed closer to the time.
Ms Sturgeon will be the latest high-profile witness to give evidence to the Committee as its inquiry into relations between Westminster and Holyrood gathers pace.
Intergovernmental Relations: 25 Years since the Scotland Act has received evidence from other prominent politicians including Tony Blair, Lord David Cameron, Alex Salmond and Angus Robertson MSP.
Last week, the Committee heard the views of two former First Ministers, Henry McLeish and Lord Jack McConnell, as well as former Lord Advocate Lady Elish Angiolini.
