Chair's comments
Committee chair Pete Wishart commented:
"I am pleased that the ministers have agreed to appear before us this week. We will be asking them if policies created in Westminster for the United Kingdom are adequate to meet the specific challenges that we face in Scotland.
The population and migration policies that may be beneficial north of the border may look very different to those needed in the South East of England.
How can they set policy that works for both and what options are they investigating to do so?"
