Committee to hold an emergency evidence session to explore scientific evidence regarding the new variant of covid-19

On Wednesday 23 December, the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee is to hold an emergency evidence session to explore scientific evidence regarding the new variant of covid-19.

Purpose of the session

This session forms part of the Committee’s ongoing work gathering contemporary evidence on the pandemic as part of its UK Science, Research and Technology Capability and Influence in Global Disease Outbreaks inquiry.
