UK's preparedness for disease emergencies examined

The Science and Technology Committee examines the UK's preparedness for, and response to, disease emergencies, with a particular focus on the provision of expert scientific advice and the operation of the Ebola Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE). The Committee also hears what steps the Government is taking to mitigate, and increase the UK's resilience to, future disease emergencies.
