Social impact of paramilitarism in Northern Ireland to come under spotlight at Committee session

What impact is the presence of paramilitaries in Northern Ireland having on the region and its people? The cross-party Northern Ireland Affairs Committee will examine the issue when it questions academic experts on 18 May.

The session will be the first oral evidence session of the Committee’s inquiry into the effect of the paramilitary groups on society in Northern Ireland.
