NIAC to question loyalist group on NI Protocol and recent unrest

Loyalist Communities Council (LCC) Chairman David Campbell and fellow LCC representatives will be questioned by the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee as it continues its inquiry into the part of the Brexit agreement known as the Northern Ireland Protocol.

Purpose of the session
The LCC has been one of the principal opponents of the Protocol since its implementation.
Mr Campbell will be joined by three other members of the group during the session which is expected to cover, among other subjects, the following:
- Loyalist communities’ objections to the Northern Ireland Protocol
- The LCC’s view on recent unrest in NI
- The Council’s position on the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement
